Slippery elm (ulmas rubra) is a tree native to North America. The inner bark has been used for generations to soothe minor throat irritation associated with exposure to dust, excessive talking and other everyday activities. These PLANETARY HERBALS great tasting tangerine flavored slippery elm lozenges contain echinacea and vitamin C for immune support.

Suggested Use

1 lozenge as needed. Do not exceed 10 lozenges daily. For optimal results, allow lozenge to slowly dissolve in the mouth for prolonged contact with the throat.

Not up to Thayer’s, but OK

I reluctantly bought a bottle of Planetary Slippery Elm lozenges at a local health products store. They used to carry Thayer’s lozenges. I was disappointed that Thayer’s was gone. I had occasion to need this product and since I’d happily used other Thayer’s products I looked for Thayer’s Slippery Elm. I have used these Planetary lozenges and they’re better than nothing, but the plastic bottle packaging is inferior to Thayer’s tins. I took my Planetary lozenges out of the inconvenient bottle and put them into an Altoids Smalls tin I’ve had for a while.
